Seven decades of innovation, stability, and honest engineering work. PPS Group a.s. is currently commemorating a major milestone—70 years since its founding. To mark this special occasion, official anniversary celebrations were held at our facility in Detva.
Since its establishment in 1955, PPS Group (originally Podpolianske strojárne) has undergone a remarkable transformation. It has evolved from a regional enterprise into a respected global partner in the manufacturing of medium-heavy and heavy welded structures for the world’s leading producers of construction, mining, and agricultural equipment.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Daniel Futej, focused his address on the strategic vision, maintaining competitiveness in global markets, and modernizing the company in the era of digitalization.
The CEO, Mr. Peter Štupák, expressed his deep gratitude to all employees for their daily efforts, professionalism, and loyalty, which have kept the company a long-standing leader in the region.
The celebrations also included a rich accompanying program, featuring an Open Door Day that attracted numerous families and young technical talents. The connection between a rich tradition and ongoing innovation was highlighted by the presence of our long-serving colleagues, including our longest-tenured employee, who has been with PPS Group for an incredible 48 years.
As we enter our eighth decade, we do so with a clear objective: to remain a stable pillar of the Podpoľanie region, to deliver cutting-edge technological solutions, and to continue proudly representing Slovak engineering worldwide.
