Engineering drawings

Our technical team is ready to offer our customers technical support in terms of: creation of 3D models, drawing of construction documentation (technical drawings), processing of accompanying documentation and spare parts catalogues.
Designers and technicians process the drawings and models in following programs:
AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works, Parasolid, ACIS.

→ Material preparation

Based on delivered technical documentation it is possible to process the required type of material by cutting, burning and sawing.
For burning of metal sheets the company uses the oxygen-acetylene (Telerex and Picorex) and plasma burning machines (technical parameters are in chart below).

→ Forming

The press brakes (TRUBEND 800, CTO 400A, LODD 315, LO 200, LO 50. LODD 50) are able to generate pressure from 150 to 800 t, with a maximum length of pressed material up to 5000 mm, with bending a radius of 200 mm. There is also the availability of sheet straightening machines (UBR 18x200, XRM 2000x12, XRM 3200x20), roll bending machines (XZMP 2000x12), pipe bending machines (XOTH 40, PKKT 1018/2) and thread rolling machines (GWR 80, UPW 12/5 x 70).

→ Welding

Manual welding is provided by highly qualified workers using various welding equipment such as the MIG/MAG, TIG, CMT. GOLEM 1200 is used for submerged arc welding. Welding of rotated assemblies and booms in particular is done by welding robots IGM and OJ 10. Welding materials: Class S235 to S960 (Weldox 700, Hardox 400, Armox 500). Special types of steel (size 1 - 150 mm). PPS Group a. s. holds the following welding certificates.

→ Mechanical machining

Mechanical machining of smaller assemblies and subassemblies are made with the use of lathes, drills, milling machines and grinders. For bigger welding construction, the company is equipped with modern NC and CNC centers.

→ Painting

Depending on the parameters of the products, the painting process is undertaken in an overhead chamber paint line or in painting and drying combo booth. These devices are intended for painting with two-component paints.

Painting line
Painting in the painting chamber is done by using the wet method (washing-drying-primer-drying-sealing-final coat-drying) using the GRACO and 2K WAGNER TWIN KONTROL 35 -70, equipment, at 20 minutes intervals on 43 hangers. Maximum dimensions of painting products is 4 x 1,8 x 1,35 m with a weight up to 2t.

Painting booth
The combination painting booth uses the high pressure spray pump 2K WAGNER TWIN KONTROL 35 -70 spray and KREMLIN. The booth is used for painting products with the dimensions of up to 14 x 4 x 2,5 m and weigh up to 10t (depending on dimensions, the products are transported by a suspended groove track, railway trolley or an independent mode of transport).
