Our main goal is to provide quality products for our customers, to be a reliable company to our suppliers and to create a good working environment and conditions for our employees. Our mission is reflected in the company´s Quality Policy. We commit to fulfil and keep our quality management system according to the internationally accepted standards. The major part of the Quality system is a continuous improvement of the company´s policies and processes.
Quality policy Enviromental politics
The Quality management system is established and certified according to the EN ISO 9001:2008 since 2005, the company also has been certified according to the SOŠ AQAP 2120:2010 (military products), STN ISO 3834-2 (Quality system of welding), DIN 18800, DIN 15 018, DIN 4132, EN 1090-2+A1 (steel construction welding system), DIN EN 15085-2 (welding of railway vehicles and their parts) and accredited calibration laboratory in the company to meet requirements according to the standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
The quality of our products is our priority and therefore the quality control is carried out in three phases: Entry control, in-process control and output control. The weld quality control is ensured by qualified workers. These employees are holders of non-destructive weld testing certificates (NDT testing – ultrasonic testing, magnetic –powder testing, penetration testing and visual tests of welds). The 3D coordinate measuring machines MORA 0150 and LEICA TRACKER are used for dimensional control. Certified welding supervision is a part of the quality system which trains, supervises and directs workers who provide the welding processes.
The quality improvements are ensured by collaboration with the Industrial Institute of Slovak Republic, Prvá zváračská a.s. (joint stock company)., Technical University in Zvolen, Consulting & Control of Welding Ltd. and others.
Calibration and Testing Laboratory PPS Group a.s. (joint stock company) has its own accredited calibration and testing laboratory. The laboratory is used to carry out a calibration of length gauges, plane angle gauges, thermometers, pressure gauges and measurement of divergences from linearity and planeness according to the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard. It is capable to measure straightness of the rulers, planeness of the control plates and measurement of the geometric variables and divergences of shape on the 3D coordinate measuring equipments within the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard. The calibration laboratory is used not only for our own purposes but it is also outsourced to the other companies. Our people constantly thrive to offer the highest standards by a continuous research in the subject area. Our experts regularly attend seminars and training sessions. They update their knowledge and keep up with the developments in the research methods by sharing their experience with other professionals.

Metalographical Laboratory and Mechanical Testing
PPS Group Metallographic Laboratory realizes activities to increase the quality of our products. We provide complete control of the supplied materials by mechanic and metallographic tests. Besides this it carries out metallographic analysis of the weld joints, tension and bending tests at the environment temperatures, shock test in bend at the environment temperature as well as at lower temperature and hardness measurements HBW, HV, HRC, HRB and micro-hardness.

Quality Lab carries out a number of mechanical tests and has a special engineering workshop for taking samples. We test in accordance with most standard test methods, and tests are also according to the customers`s own specifications and wishes.

Damage analysis: The industry is constantly experiencing that equipment does not meet expectations. We use a combination of analyses, visual inspection, physical tests and experience to identify the cause. A metallurgist thoroughly evaluates all aspects of the damage and gives a conclusion and a recommended solution.
