Technical drawings and designs
Our technical team is ready to offer our customers technical support services such as: creation of 3D models, drawing of construction documentation (technical drawings), processing of accompanying documentation and spare parts catalogues.
Designers and engineers process the drawings and models in the following programs:
AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor.
Based on delivered technical documentation it is possible to process the required type of material by cutting, burning and sawing.
For burning metal sheets the company uses the oxygen-acetylene (Telerex and Picorex) and plasma burning machines (technical parameters are in chart below).

The press brakes (TRUBEND 800, CTO 400A, LODD 315, LO 200, LO 50. LODD 50) are able to generate pressure from 150 to 800t, with a maximum length of pressed material up to 5000 mm, with a bending radius of 200mm. Also available are sheet straightening machines (UBR 18x200, XRM 2000x12, XRM 3200x20), roll bending machines (XZMP 2000x12), pipe bending machines (XOTH 40, PKKT 1018/2) and thread rolling machines (GWR 80, UPW 12/5 x 70).

Manual welding is provided by highly qualified workers using various types of welding equipment such as the MIG/MAG, TIG, CMT. A GOLEM 1200 is used for submerged arc welding. Welding of rotated assemblies and booms is done in particular by welding robots IGM and OJ 10. We use welding materials: Class S235 to S960 (Weldox 700, Hardox 400, Armox 500) and have special types of steel (size 1 – 150mm). PPS Group a.s. (a joint stock company) holds the following welding certificates.

Mechanical machining of smaller assemblies and subassemblies are made with the use of lathes, drills, milling machines and grinders. For bigger welding constructions, the company is equipped with the modern NC and CNC centres.

Depending on parameters of the products and client requirements we provide wet painting, especially with 2K colours:Depending on parameters of the products and client requirements we provide wet painting, especially with 2K colours:
1. In the chamber painting line with tunnel pre-treatment, on the circular overhead conveyer, through intermittent motion.
2. In a separate painting and drying box and multi-mode painting cabin, on track cars and overhead groove, with high-pressure pre-treatment of the surface.
PPS Group a.s. (a joint stock company) offers a complex surface treatment with sand blasting and painting processes. The company has an automatic sand blasting workplace, composed by sand blasting chamber HOLLAND MINERAAL and sand blasting robot BLASTMAN. The sand blasting production reaches around 225 m2/h at the operational pressure 8 bars and 19 mm blast tube. The robot sand blasting process can be programmed in advance or it is possible to program the robot for manual sand blasting (the robot memorizes and retrieves the manual sand blasting procedure). It is also possible to use manual sand blasting without the robot.
The pre-treatment of the surface (degrease + iron phosphate coating, rinse and drying) is realized in the tunnel line through a shower system with Henkel products.
The consequent painting and drying of the primer and final coat is done in the separate painting and drying boxes. The primer coat is applied with low-pressure HVLP equipment TRITON 308, and the final coat with the high-pressure equipment 2K WAGNER TWIN KONTROL 35 – 70. The cycle time depends on the painting time, which is about 10 – 20 min, on 43 hangers. The painting products can have the maximal dimensions of 4 x 1.8 x 1.35 m and weigh up to two tons.
Separate painting and drying box
The pre-treatment of the surface (degrease + iron phosphate coating) is carried out with the high-pressure equipment RB- 30E and Henkel products. The primer coat painting is performed by the semi-pressure spraying equipment KREMLIN 20.25, and the final coat with the high-pressure equipments 2K WAGNER TWIN KONTROL 35-70. The products can have the maximal dimensions of 14 x 4 x 2.5 m and weigh up to ten tons.
Multi-mode painting cabin
The pre-treatment of the surface (degrease + iron phosphate coating) is carried out with the high-pressure equipment RB- 30E and Henkel products. A fully-automatic multi-mode painting cabin BLOWTHERM T1 performs the whole process of painting and drying. The dimensions of the painting cabin are 16 x 5 x 5 m and the track cars transport the parts. The primer coat painting is realized by the semi-pressure spraying equipment KREMLIN 20.25, and the final coat with the high-pressure equipment 2K WAGNER TWIN KONTROL 35-70.
